Longest Day of the Year

It took seventeen years for the sun to set
One ray at a time
Across Bitterroots and valleys
Warmth lasting through a short night
We danced beneath moon beams and a full yellow crown sat upon your head in the photo you posed for
Any place was here and anytime was now
Eternity exists in the moments we share
And within the moments
time dissapears
“How long does love last?” you asked me with that sarcastic edge
Love is Infinite I said
you already knew that
